Operation Christmas Child

Yesterday, we went to our church friends' house to pack boxes for kids that don't get anything for Christmas.  First, we ate lunch.  Then, the director, Christen, showed us how to fold boxes.  Miss Carla helped me to fold my own box.  Then I was able to make one all by myself.  When I got tired of folding boxes, I went outside and started to help organize the toys to go into the boxes.  We had a boys and girls tables there for different ages (2-4, 5-9, and 10-14).  Once all the toys were organized, we started putting the things in the boxes that were necessary for a certain age.  When we were all done, I felt like I had done something really good!

  1. Hi
We work with poor people in Panama and last year we received shoe box gifts for the children in the community of La Mina.
Your Mum can show you some of the kids that received the boxes on my Facebook in the album Shoebox day.
I think it was great that you were able to help with this operation! Keep up the good work :)
